El Intendente Costero, visitó la Casa de Veteranos de Malvinas de La Costa
El intendente del Partido de La Costa, Juan Pablo de Jesús, se reunió con integrantes de la Casa de Veteranos de Malvinas en su sede ubicada en el primer piso de la Terminal de Micros de Santa Teresita, en calle 16 entre 34 y 35.
En el lugar, Juan Pablo llevó un aporte para la institución, que también ofrece de manera libre y gratuita el acceso al Museo Temático de Malvinas con distintos elementos que estuvieron en el conflicto bélico de 1982 que Argentina tuvo con Inglaterra en las islas del Archipiélago Sur.
Juan José Moray, presidente de la Casa de Veteranos de Malvinas de La Costa, agradeció la visita del intendente al resaltar que “pasamos un momento muy agradable compartiendo un café, facturas, un mate y recorrimos nuestro Museo de Malvinas donde Juan Pablo siempre se muestra muy interesado en lo que hacemos”.
“Siempre que podemos estamos acompañando los actos patrios desde la Casa de Veteranos y esta colaboración la vamos a destinar a refaccionar nuestro lugar, también en la instalación del agua y para terminar de ambientar nuestro comedor, que es el lugar de encuentro de todos nosotros”, agregó el ex combatiente nacido en El Dorado, Misiones, y conocido por todos como “Chamigo”.
El Museo Temático de Malvinas es de entrada libre y gratuita y está abierto de jueves a sábados, de 15.00 a 18.00. “En noviembre ya vamos a publicar los horarios de verano, que desde el 1 de enero tenemos abierto todos los días”, contó Moray.
El lugar es visitado por Jardines de Infantes, escuelas primarias y secundarias, a quienes se les brinda una charla interactiva con videos adaptados para todas las edades, y hasta contingentes de jubilados que vienen desde Buenos Aires y otras provincias.
“Hace unos meses tuvimos acá la reunión de la Federación Provincial de Veteranos de guerra, que integran 44 Casas de Veteranos de toda la Provincia, con más de 100 personas reunidas en Santa Teresita. Todos quedaron gratamente sorprendidos por la calidad de nuestro espacio, del cual estamos muy orgullosos”, sentenció el presidente de la entidad.
